These terms govern the use of our platform for the centralized management of mobile corporate devices. They apply to all IT departments that manage device fleets via DevicePilot.
DevicePilot provides software for the inventory, remote management, and analysis of mobile end devices. The platform supports IT teams in enforcing security policies and monitoring the condition of the device fleet. The exact scope of functions is determined by the respective activated tariff variant.
The user is responsible for the lawful collection and processing of device data. They must ensure that all recorded end devices are owned by the company or that the appropriate usage authorization exists. Access credentials must be treated as confidential and must not be shared with unauthorized third parties.
We strive to ensure high availability of the platform. For planned maintenance work that may affect accessibility, we will notify you in a timely manner via the contact channels stored in the system. Complete availability at all times cannot be technically guaranteed.
Liability for slight negligence is excluded, unless essential contractual obligations are affected. We assume no liability for data loss resulting from improper operation or incorrect configuration by the user. The use of remote management functions is at the administrator's own risk.
The contract may be terminated by either party with 30 days' notice to the end of the month. Upon termination, all stored device data will be deleted within 30 days. Data can be exported at any time via the export function until the end of the notice period.
We reserve the right to adjust these terms if the scope of functions of the platform changes or if new legal requirements necessitate this. We will notify you of significant changes by email to the address on file. If the user does not object within four weeks, the new terms are deemed accepted.
